2017 Holy Week Service Schedule

Sunday, April 9 – Palm Sunday

Regular service times

8:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist

10:15am Ecumenical Palm Blessing at Thomas Moore Newman Center (Arrive at St. Stephen’s at 10am to walk over together or meet us there. Expect a crowd! )

10:30 am service includes a dramatic presentation of the Passion narrative by our children and youth at the end of the service.

Thursday, April 13 – 7:00pm Maundy Thursday

Beginning in Hobson Hall with a light Mediterranean snack and Ritual of Servanthood concluding with Holy Communion and Stripping of the Altar in the sanctuary.

Friday, April 14 – 12:30pm and 7:00pm Good Friday

Services with communion from the reserved sacrament.

Saturday, April 15 – 9:00pm The Great Vigil of Easter

Stories of God’s mighty acts told around the campfire in the courtyard and festive first Eucharist of Easter in the sanctuary.

Sunday, April 16 – 10:30am Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday Service, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the children!
there is no 8:30am service on this day
