Blessing of the Animals on October 4th

October 4th is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, and it is a long held and very beloved tradition to bless animals on that day. Francis, a greater lover of creation, befriended and preached to birds and wolves and all sorts of other creatures. If you would like your pet blessed, you have two options. You can email a photo of your pet to Karl (rector@karls246.sg-host.com) and he’ll include it in a slide show that will play during the animal blessings, or you can bring your pet to the 10:30 AM service (please plan to keep your pet on a leash or in a carrier).
