Our own Emily Patterson is a terrific poet. Her first book, So Much Tending Remains was published by Kelsay Books in 2022. Her second book of poetry will be coming out soon. Emily is a Pushcart Prize nominee and has published poems in an array of journals over the years. One of her main themes is motherhood, and her daughter Saoirse appears in many of her poems, including “At Saint Stephen’s,” which was recently published by the Whale Road Review.
