Starting the week of July 22, 2024, Jamie Massa will be offering two opportunities to learn and practice centering prayer as a daily spiritual practice. 

The first class begins Monday, July 22 and will meet from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm on zoom.  If you are interested in attending the Monday evening zoom class, please email Jamie and she will email you the zoom link.

The second class begins on Tuesday, July 23 and will meet in person at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 30 West Woodruff, Columbus, OH 43210 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. The classes will be limited to 8 people. Please use this form to sign-up:

We will be using the book, Open Mind, Open Heart by Thomas Keating as our text for both classes. Please purchase the book before the first class or you can borrow a copy from Jamie. 

In the Fall of 2024, we will be offering a couple of new classes. One group will practice centering prayer and study two Mystics, John of the Cross and Hildegard of Bingen. The other class will meet during the noon hour at St Stephens and combine centering prayer & Lectio Divina.
