House Bill 68, an amended bill that would ban gender-affirming care for minors AND ban transgender athletes in school sports for both K-12 and higher education, was passed by the House in June. It is now moving through the Senate. As an open and affirming parish, St. Stephen’s opposes this bill.

We are part of the LOVEBoldly and in coalition with many LGBTQiA+ advocacy groups. Sign on to our coalition statement: Ohio is Home.  This statement recognizes that if HB68 becomes law many transgender people and families with transgender members may leave Ohio to seek care and affirmation in states which protect their transgender residents.
