We’re so excited for the start of the new school year, and thrilled to see returning friends and welcome new students! Below you’ll find information about upcoming events for our Young Adult Ministries (YAMS).

YAMS Brunch on August 28th!

We’ll be eating together and getting to know each other in Hobson Hall right after the 10:30 AM service. We’ll make sure that we have food for people with dietary restrictions of all kinds. Come with your ideas for fun activities and topics you’d like to delve deeply into as you explore the Episcopal Church and your Christian faith. No need to RSVP, just show up!

Bible Study!

Bible Study is back, with a difference. We’ll still meet at 7:00 PM on Thursday evenings at the church. But this year we’ll use scripture to explore a series of topics, and our exploration will include spiritual practices and social action. The topics we’ll be investigating are:

• September – Call & discernment.
• October – Change and coming to grips with new understandings.
• November – Fostering a sense of community.
• December – Expectation and hope.
• January – Struggle and failure.
• February – Wilderness and not knowing.
• March – Death and loss.
• April – New life.

Retreat in Hocking Hills, October 7th – 10th!

We’ll be joining students from the other Episcopal campus ministries in the diocese for a three night stay in a lovely cabin in the beautiful Hocking Hills. Lots of hiking, eating, playing, and praying! This one you do need to RSVP for. Send Karl an email if you’d like to attend.
